Potosi School District Closes for Remainder of Week Due to Illness

Potosi, Mo. (KFMO) - The Potosi R-3 School District has announced it will be closed for the remainder of the week due to the high number of staff and students who are sick.

Classes are set to resume on Tuesday, February 18. During the closure, the district will implement Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) days. Students are expected to complete Day 1 and Day 2 assignments from their AMI packets or preloaded Chromebook materials. Completed work should be returned when classes resume next week.

Parents are encouraged to ensure their children complete the assigned work and reach out to teachers via email if assistance is needed.

The district will continue monitoring illness levels and appreciates the community’s support in maintaining a healthy learning environment.
