Mobile Home Destroyed in Fire on John Smith Road, No Injuries Reported

Washington Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A residential structure fire destroyed a single-wide mobile home in Washington County on Wednesday afternoon, but all occupants were able to escape safely before first responders arrived.

According to the Potosi Fire Protection District, crews were dispatched at approximately 2:25 p.m. by Washington County 911 to the 12000 block of John Smith Road. Upon arrival, firefighters found the mobile home already on the ground.

The scene was brought under control shortly after. Several agencies provided mutual aid, including Leadwood, Irondale, Terre Du Lac, De Soto, and the Washington County Ambulance District. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
