(Potosi, MO) The Ste. Genevieve Dragons continue to surge down the stretch after a dominant straight set win over the Potosi Lady Trojans, 25-16, 25-18, 25-15.
Emma Gegg led the Dragons with 19 kills unofficially. She added a pair of aces. Kale Clements contributed 14 kills in the winning effort.
The match featured 10 ties and eight lead changes, all coming in the first two sets.
Eden Robart led the Lady Trojans with 15 kills and two aces.
Potosi played without Ava Robart, who has missed two games with injury.
Ste. Gen (15-8-2, 4-0) remains undefeated in conference regular season play and will play Thursday at Fredericktown with a chance to clinch the large school regular season title with a win.
Potosi (16-4-1, 3-1) will wrap up conference play on Thursday against Central with a chance to clinch a share of the conference title if they win paired with a Dragon loss Thursday.
