(Farmington, MO) The Farmington Knights beat the North County Lady Raiders 10-0 in five innings. The Knights scored three runs in each of the first three innings and ended the game via run rule when Lilly Staat doubled to bring in Jaylynne Payne.
Elly Robbins was phenomenal in the circle striking out 11 Lady Raiders to earn a shutout victory in the home opener. North County could only muster a lone hit in the fourth inning. Robbins went 2-for-3 at the plate with three RBI and two runs scored.
Staat and Kylen Knight each had two hits and an RBI, and Payne was 2-for-2. North County’s hit came from Madison Carroll.
The Lady Raiders committed five errors in the loss.
Farmington (2-0) plays in the Rockwood Summit Tournament this weekend, while North County (0-3) hosts East Carter on Monday.
