Wilshires Resign from Mineral Point Board

(Mineral Point, MO) The Mineral Point Board is short two members after the resignation of Rebecca and Matthew Wilshire. The resignations are in response to a demand from Washington County Prosecuting Attorney John I. Jones IV. A temporary restraining order had been put in place to prevent the pair from disconnecting water service to Mineral Point residents. Reports indicate the Wilshires had been cutting off water service to some homes citing non payment of water bills while residents said they had not been receiving any statements. A court hearing on the matter has been rescheduled.
