Warrant Wednesdays: Sheriff's Department Finds Success with New Crime-Fighting Program

St. Francois Co. Mo. (KFMO) - Law enforcement officials with the St. Francois County Sheriff's Department are working with a new program called Warrant Wednesdays each week.

St. Francois County Sheriff Jeff Crites, says the program is becoming popular with citizens and is helping clear up old warrants.

According to Crites, he began Warrant Wednesdays March 26, 2025. The individuals are chosen at random and out of the first 4 weeks 6 individuals were highlighted with 5 being captured.
