Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A two-vehicle crash on northbound Highway 67, south of Flucom Road, in Jefferson County on Sunday evening, November 17, left one driver with moderate injuries and both vehicles totaled.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 5:50 p.m. when a 2022 Ford Edge, driven by a 50-year-old woman from De Soto, entered the right lane of Highway 67 from a driveway. The Ford was struck in the rear by a 2013 Chevrolet Impala traveling in the same lane.
The driver of the Impala, a 57-year-old man from Park Hills, was not wearing a seatbelt and sustained moderate injuries. He was transported to Mercy Hospital Jefferson by ambulance.
The driver of the Ford Edge was reportedly uninjured. Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene.
