Teen Found Safe

(St. Francois Co., Mo) Authorities with the St. Francois County Sheriff's Department say they have located a missing teen.

According to the sheriff's department, 16 year old Anthony Alexander Kennon was located early Saturday morning. They say he was returned safely to family as well.

It was reported that Kennon left his grandparents residence in the Wortham area on Tuesday, April 16th, 2024 afternoon, enroute to an address in Leadwood. Kennon was later seen voluntarily entering an unknown vehicle on Main Street in Leadwood, the same day.

Kennon told authorities that he was not in any danger and had stayed with a local juvenile friend.
