State Of The County Address

Community and Business Leaders in the Parkland are preparing for the St. Francois County State of the County Address. It's set to take place Monday, February 20th on the Park Hills campus of Mineral Area College.  The Executive Director of the Farmington Regional Chamber of Commerce, Candy Hente, says it's beneficial when communities in the Parkland can work together and the State of the County connects them all.

The Presiding Commissioner of St. Francois County, Harold Gallaher, will give the main address. Several Mayors from the area will speak as well as the President of Mineral Area College, Dr. Joe Gilgour. The State of the County address begins with a continental breakfast at 9:00am. The program begins at 10 o'clock. Tickets for the St. Francois County State of the County Address can be purchased through your local Chamber of Commerce office for $5 each.
