St. Francois County Wreck with Moderate Injuries

(St. Francois County, MO.) A woman from Clifton Colorado, 20 year old Kassandra L. Holmes, is recovering from moderate injuries after she was involved in a one vehicle accident Thursday afternoon just before 3:15 in St. Francois County. According to Highway Patrol reports a woman from Mineral Point, 38 year old Tiona L. Sampson, was driving east on Highway 47, just east of  Pine Grove Lane, when she lost control of her pick up and it ran off the left side of the road and smashed into a tree. Sampson and a second passenger, a 15 year old female from Mineral Point, received minor injuries. None of the three in the pick up were wearing a seat belt at the time of the wreck. They were all taken to Parkland Health Center North at Bonne Terre.
