(St. Francois County, MO) Various locations along northbound and southbound U.S. Route 67 in St. Francois, Madison and Wayne Counties will be reduced to one lane with a 16-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform guardrail work, pavement repairs and asphalt resurfacing soon. The improvements will extend from Route 221 at Farmington to County Road 303 in Wayne County. Work on the route began Monday and will continue, weather permitting, through Wednesday, November 1st from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Contractor crews are currently making guardrail upgrades. Pavement repairs are anticipated to begin the week of March 20, and paving operations could begin as early as late April, weather permitting. As contractor crews work in various locations along the corridor, you're urged to use caution while traveling near, or through, the area. The work zones will be marked with signs.
