Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - City leaders in Park Hills are working towards a better infrastructure system for the town's water and wastewater needs.
Park Hills Mayor, Stacey Easter, says they've been addressing water main breaks with the 70 to 80 year old system that hasn't been maintained properly for many years.
Easter adds the first estimates to repair both the water and wastewater parts of the infrastructure totaled $100 million.
Easter says they're working with local legislators for funding as well as Missouri Congressman Jason Smith's office in Washington , DC.
