Washington Co., Mo. (KFMO) - The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a tornado touched down approximately six miles northwest of Potosi in Washington County Wednesday afternoon, leaving a path of destruction but no fatalities.
Several homes and structures sustained significant damage, with some completely destroyed. Troopers, along with local first responders, quickly responded to the scene to assess the situation and check on residents. Fortunately, all individuals have been accounted for, with only minor injuries reported.
Emergency crews are continuing to assist those affected and assess the full extent of the damage. Residents are urged to remain cautious as recovery efforts are underway. Authorities will continue monitoring conditions and provide updates as needed.
