Holiday Driving Requires Planning Ahead

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - Missouri State Highway Patrol officials are reminding you to be prepared to drive safely this Thanksgiving holiday.

The Patrol's, Coporal Dallas Thompson, says if you're traveling it's a good idea to plan ahead for the trip.

Thompson explains it's also a good time to be sure you have a winter weather emergency kit in your vehicle. Include extra blankets, water, chargers for your cell phone, and packaged foods in case you become stranded during a weather emergency.
