Health Officials Point Out Winter is Still Here

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - Even though we have had spring like temperatures in the Parkland, officials at the St. Francois County Health Center remind us winter won't end until March 20, 2025.

The Environmental Public Health Specialist, and Public Health Emergency Preparedness Coordinator for the Health Center, Don Kleinberg, says before getting out into any bad weather it's best to check the forecast first.

Kleinberg adds National Weather Service Meteorologists are predicting additional snow for the Parkland beginning Monday night through Thursday. So far no accumulation amounts are being mentioned.
