Fatal Crash in St. Francois County

(St. Francois Co., MO) A Cadet man, 22 year old Caleb M. Thompson, was fatally injured after a one car crash in St. Francois County, Thursday night at 10 p.m.

Missouri State Highway Patrol reports show Thompson was driving a car south on Highway 21, at Brown Hollow Road, when the vehicle ran off the right side of the highway and crashed into a culvert. The car then struck a roadway sign, hit a tree, and rolled over.

Thompson was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt when the crash occurred.
