Farmington Warming Shelter Active

(Farmington, MO.) Farmington officials are announcing a warming shelter at the Farmington Civic Center during our cold temperatures that are forecast to be well under freezing tonight and Tuesday. The Farmington Civic Center is located at 2 Black Knight Drive. Even though the center has been designated as a warming center they're closed today in observance of Veterans Day. If you require a warming center while the Civic Center is closed, or after hours, call Farmington Police Department Dispatch at 573-756-6686, or visit the police station at 310 Ste. Genevieve Avenue in Farmington. Arrangements can be made at the police station to provide an overnight shelter for both this evening, tonight, and Tuesday night including a warm meal.
