Early Morning Blaze Destroys Bismarck Home, State Fire Marshal Investigating

Bismarck, Mo. (KFMO) - At 2:51 a.m. Thursday, the Bismarck Fire Protection District was called to a residential structure fire on Pine Street in Bismarck. By the time firefighters arrived at 2:57 a.m., they found the building fully engulfed in flames. Acting quickly, crews deployed three attack lines in a defensive posture, focusing on containing the fire to the main structure and protecting neighboring homes from damage.

Due to their swift action, firefighters were able to prevent significant damage to nearby properties. The fire was eventually contained within the original structure, which sustained extensive damage. Multiple agencies assisted in the effort, including Irondale Fire Protection District, Leadwood Fire Protection District, Farmington Fire Department, Belgrade Fire Department, Park Hills Fire Department, Big River Fire Protection District, Leadington Fire Department, Potosi Fire Protection District, and Pilot Knob Fire Protection District.

The Missouri State Fire Marshal’s Office has been contacted to investigate the cause of the fire. Authorities are asking anyone with information about the incident to call the State Fire Marshal’s hotline at 1-800-392-7766.
