(Jefferson City, MO) Officials with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission are awarding contracts for Southeast District projects that include resurfacing, pavement improvements, pavement markings, bridge repairs and replacements, and scrub seal projects. Contracts for work in the Parkland include a $16,705,000 contract to Pace Construction Company, for resurfacing roads in Ste. Genevieve, Perry, and Bollinger County. The addition of a center turn lane on Route 32, at the intersection with Interstate 55, is also on the list. A $1,134,786 contract was awarded to Joe’s Bridge & Grading, Inc., for a bridge rehabilitation on Route 67 over the Union Pacific Railroad and Koen Creek near Park Hills. A $1,967,242 contract was awarded to H.R. Quadri Contractors, LLC, for grading and paving on various curves along Route K from Route 21 to Route 49 in Iron and Reynolds counties. Additional contracts cover other portions of the southeast district and would repair or replace a few bridges plus perform sealant scrubs on two routes.
