$77,777 Scratchers Prize 'Stuns' Player in Perryville

(Perryville, MO) A routine trip to Conoco, in Perryville, is turning into a big win for a Missouri Lottery player when he purchased a "Silver 7s" Scratchers ticket.

"I play that game all the time," he said. "I was scratching it off, and I saw that I had won $10,000."

As he finished scratching the ticket, he was shocked to see his prizes add up, leading to one of the game's top prizes of $77,777. "It was 7s all the way down! I was stunned," he said.

He went to wake up his wife to share the good news, though she had trouble believing it at first. "I showed her the ticket, and she was stunned too," he shared.

"Silver 7s" is a $5 game. So far, players have won over $5.6 million on the game, and over $8.4 million remain in unclaimed prizes – including three more top prizes of $77,777.

In FY23, players in Perry County won more than $3.7 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, retailers received more than $393,000 in commissions and bonuses, and more than $80,000 in Lottery proceeds went to education programs in the county.
