Missouri Proposition A Increases Minimum Wage

Jefferson City, Mo. (KFMO) - Voters in Missouri will decide the fate of Proposition A in the November 5 election.

Missouri Secretary of State, John Ashcroft, says the measure is an initiative petition that would increase the minimum wage and essentially tie it to yearly inflation figures.

The measure also provides the opportunity for employees to earn sicktime as they're working.
