Quarterback Patrick Mahomes connected with Xavier Worthy four minutes into the second frame for a 54 yard touchdown putting KC on the board.
Harrison Butker kicked a 37 yard Field Goal tying the game 10-10 before the halfway point of the third quarter, and Samaje Perine’s two yard rushing touchdown in the fourth gave the Chiefs the advantage.
Mahomes finished the day with 245 passing yards and completed 19-of-29 passes. He threw a touchdown and interception. Kareem Hunt rushed for a team leading 69 yards in his return to the Chiefs. Travis Kelce had seven receptions for 89 yards.
Rashee Rice left the game after a collision with Patrick Mahomes early in the contest. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said Rice will have an MRI Monday.
Kansas City (4-0) hosts the New Orleans Saints (2-2) in Week 5 Monday Night Football on October 7.
