William Joseph Pyatt

William Joseph Pyatt, age 85, dearly beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  Heaven’s gain is our loss.

Anyone who knew Bill, knew he was a true servant of God.  He never tired of sharing God’s Word or singing about His Glory to anyone he met. Bill was a Boilermaker, Local 363, Belleville, Illinois from 1967-2007 (40years).  He loved fishing with his sons at Duck Creek. His very favorite spot to fish.  He loved his family dearly, especially his great grandson, Leo Joseph, who shared an August 13th birthday with him.  Bill was always there loving and caring for his family.  He will live forever in their hearts.

Bill was born in Irondale, Missouri, August 13, 1939 to the late John and Opal Pyatt.  His parents preceded his death along with one brother and three sisters.  Robert Ray Pyatt, Edna Pyatt and Gertie Pyatt Brewer.  He has one living sister, Wilma  Pyatt Massey. Bill was married to his beloved wife of 65 years, Tamera Bradley Pyatt.

They had three children, Terri Ann Pyatt (deceased), William Joseph Pyatt Jr. (Angela), Brett Ray Pyatt (Lorri).  Grandchildren, Garrett LaChance-Pyatt (Amanda), Rachel Pyatt (Josh), Gage Pyatt (Kylie).  One great grandson, Leo Joseph and an expected new great grandchild in the fall.  Bill had many nieces, nephews, family members, and dear friends.  He was a longtime member of the Irondale Assembly of God.

Visitation Monday March 17, 2025 from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. at Irondale Assembly of God Church, 205 Hickory St., Irondale, Mo. 63648.

Service Monday March 17, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Irondale Assembly of God Church with Rev. Derik Ruble.

Burial at Big River Cemetery.
