Dalton Belken, of Farmington, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at the age of 21 as a result of a car accident. He was born on April 28, 2003, in Farmington, Missouri, to Timothy and Mary (Elser) Belken.
Dalton is survived by his father, Tim Belken; siblings, Jon Belken, Kristopher (Sarah) Belken, Megann (Brandon) Maurer; three nephews, Abner Belken, Maxton Maurer, and Mason Maurer. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends.
Dalton was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Belken; his paternal grandparents, Charles and Carol Belken; and his maternal grandparents, Dorothy McDowell, Keith McDowell, and John Elser Sr.
Dalton graduated from Farmington High School with the class of 2021. After graduation, he worked at Brockmiller Construction before recently going to work as a laborer at Raider Mechanical in Leadington.
He enjoyed cars, trucks, video games, and spending time with his family, especially his nephews. He was a proud owner of a 1967 Ford truck named “Ted” and his friend, Justin’s, 1970 Ford named “Fred” that they built together from the frame up.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 4-8 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. officiated by Pastor Kristopher Belken.
