Barbara Ann (Waugh) Harrison

Barbara Ann (Waugh) Harrison, 82, of Farmington, Missouri passed away January 24,
2025, at Presbyterian Manor in Farmington, Missouri.


She was born on August 8, 1942, in Elvins, Missouri to her parents, the late Ernest Waugh and Ruby (Virgil) Fowler.
Also proceeded in death by her 1 sister Betty Kollmeyer; her 2 brothers Vernon Fowler and Virgil Wayne Fowler and her only grandson Connor Dixon.


She is survived by her 4 sisters, Alberta (Dave) Johnson of Farmington, Missouri;
Donna (Alan) Grubbs of Wentzville, Missouri; Sharon (Harold) Watkins of Park Hills, Missouri; and Marcia (Mark) Yates of Park Hills, Missouri.

By her 1 daughter Michele Kiger of Park Hills, Missouri; 1 son Richard (Missy) Harrison of Eagan, Minnesota.

1 granddaughter Brooke (Brett) Lester of Farmington, Missouri.

3 great grandchildren Brody, Breah, and Bryce Lester.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Barbara was a high school graduate in the 1960 class at Elvins High School and attended college before becoming a paralegal. She was a business owner, real estate agent, and passionate member of the Republican party who once served as a Missouri Republican delegate to the national convention. She also met Ronald Reagan, George H.W Busch, and George W. Bush in person. After owning and running the license bureau of St. Peters and O’Fallon, Missouri, she became a real estate agent until she retired. Barbara loved working on puzzles, staying current on the news, participating in the Republican Party, community service, and shopping. She was a
remarkable sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend who was
deeply committed to her family.                                                                                                                                                                                 

Visitation Wednesday January 29, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home, 1 Federal Park Ave., Park Hills, Mo. 63601

Service Wednesday January 29, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home.

Burial at St. Francois Memorial Park Cemetery, Bonne Terre, Mo.
