Wreck with Emergency Vehicle

(St. Francois County, MO.) A Farmington woman, who is a St. Francois County Deputy, 23 year old Ashley R. Bates, is moderately injured after a Sunday afternoon traffic accident in St. Francois County. Highway Patrol reports show she was involved in a wreck while driving her emergency vehicle with its sirens and lights activated. According to the Patrol it happened at Highway 221 and Progress Drive at 4:11. An S.U.V. driven by 21 year old Caleb C. Ingram of Farmington, failed to yeild to the emergency vehicle. The front of Bate's emergency vehicle crashed into the side of Ingram's vehicle. Bates was taken to Parkland Health Center of Farmington. Ingram was not injured.
