Wolf Creek Fire Proposal

(Farmington, MO) Voters in the Wolf Creek Fire Department coverage area will vote April 6th on whether or not to incorporate the department in an effort to grow for the future. The Chief of the Wolf Creek Fire Department, Bart Maybry, says if voters approve the issue they would add new equipment and more fire stations.

Maybry says if passed the measure would eliminate fire tags and allow the new board to institute a tax levy of .30 cents per one hundred dollars assessed valuation on real estate and personal property. According to Maybry it would also attract and retain more volunteers and help fill the needs of the citizens for the future.
