Wednesday Evening Thunderstorm Activity

(St. Francois County, MO) No injuries are being reported from severe thunderstorm activity last night in the Parkland. A tree was blown over onto a house in the 300 block of Emerson Street in Park Hills, and a woman was trapped inside the home for a time, she was not hurt. There was severe damage in Potosi including downed trees that crashed into a few vehicles and homes. Electricity was out in Park Hills where several trees and power lines were knocked down. Power outages were also reported in Leadington, Desloge, Leadwood, Potosi, Terre Du Lac, Irondale, Farmington, and Doe Run. Reports of heavy lightning were received from throughout the counties effected. Stay tuned to KFMO B104 News for any additional details as they become available.
