Washington County Motorcycle Crash

(Washington County, MO) A man and a woman from Potosi are recovering after they ran their motorcycle off the road in Washington County. The Highway Patrol says it happened at around 7 o'clock Wednesday night on highway 47, east of Tiff Road. That's where 55 year old Michael Boltzman and his passenger, 42 year old Jacalyn Yount were headed north on 47, when a southbound vehicle crossed into their lane. To avoid a collision, Boltzman veered off the east side of the road and the bike rolled over. Boltzman and Yount were both thrown from the motorcycle. Boltzman was seriously injured, while Yount suffered minor injuries. They were taken to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis and they were both wearing their safety devices at the time of the accident.
