Washington County, Mo. (KFMO) - A Washington County man has been arrested and charged with Domestic Assault in the First Degree after allegedly choking his pregnant girlfriend into unconsciousness.
According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a report of domestic violence in the Mineral Point area on the morning of March 18, 2025. Upon arrival, authorities located the suspect, William Donoho, and took him into custody.
The victim, who is 20 weeks pregnant, told deputies that she was choked on two separate occasions, with one instance causing her to lose consciousness due to a lack of blood and oxygen flow to her brain. She was transported to a hospital for medical treatment.
Donoho has been formally charged with Domestic Assault in the First Degree, a Class B felony in Missouri. His bond has been set at "no bond." Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
