Volunteer Scout Leader Child Pornography Charges

(Ironton, MO) A man from Ironton, 40 year old Daniel Reyes, who is also a volunteer with area Cub Scouts and Scouts BSA units, is facing charges of three counts of possession of child pornography. Reports show Missouri State Highway Patrol officers received a tip Reyes had allegedly shared a file that included child pornography. A search warrant was obtained and authorities allegedly found more videos containing child pornography showing sexual acts with children between the ages of 6 and 13. Reyes is aid to have admitted to owning the account and the files. It's also said no scout Reyes has had contact with, was in the videos. According to reports Reyes had passed a federal background check and youth protection training before he became a scout leader.
