Vandalism Reported at Desloge City Park Christmas Lights Display

Desloge, Mo. (KFMO) - Authorities are investigating after vandalism occurred at the Christmas lights display in Desloge City Park late Saturday night into early Sunday morning.

Surveillance footage shows suspects unplugging lights, stealing items, and damaging parts of the festive display. Officials are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact Desloge Police or City Hall at 573-431-3700. The vandalism has caused frustration for organizers and visitors who look forward to the holiday display each year.

The city diligently worked Monday to repair the damage and restore the lights, however some things had to wait until the ground dried out to fix.
