Terre Du Lac Police Chief Resigns

(Terre Du Lac, MO.) Terre Du Lac Residents are doing without Terre Du lac Police Chief Tim Cook's services after he turned in his resignation from the force. According to a facebook post, placed on the Terre Du Lac Police Department's site today, Cook is taking another position with a different organization to provide a career better suited to his needs and those of his family. Cook states after trying to bring the Department forward and improve its efforts he was told he, and other department heads, would not be able to address Terre Du Lac board members during board meetings anymore. Cook also states he's concerned the department will fall behind as he was also told not to hire an officer to bring the department up to staff level and was also made aware of budget cuts coming to the department.Cook was given the Police Chief position in 2012.
