Suspect Still Loose After Chase

(Park Hills, MO) A female theft suspect, and a possible accomplice, are still on the run after a high speed chase this afternoon. The chase began as Park Hills Police were involved in a theft investigation. The female suspect was spotted in a white Honda Civic hatchback. A male was driving when police attempted to pull the vehicle over. The driver didn't stop yet began to outrun police at a high rate of speed. The chase made it's way into downtown Bonne Terre and headed west out Highway 47. Park Hills Police Chief, Richard McFarland, told KFMO B104 News he called off the chase as cars were reaching high rates of speed during a time of day when traffic is busy near the entrance to Terre Du Lac.
