Sunday Officer Involved Shooting Update

(Fredericktown, MO) Charges are being filed against 50 year old Aaron Bertrand, of Fredericktown, after the shooting incident involving a Police Officer Sunday afternoon on the Fredericktown Wal Mart parking lot. Reports indicate a female passenger is also in custody. A check of the casenet website shows no court date yet for Bertrand. A post on the Fredericktown Police Department's Facebook page indicates the officer involved shooting took place at 1:30 Sunday afternoon. The woman passenger was arrested at the scene and reports show Bertrand is alleged to have fled in a motor vehicle. He was arrested Sunday night just before 10 o'clock.
