Ste. Genevieve Fatal Wreck

(Ste. Genevieve County, MO) A Ste. Genevieve man, 70 year old John H. Taylor, is dead after a one vehicle wreck Tuesday morning in Ste. Genevieve County. Highway Patrol reports show Taylor was driving his S.U.V. north on Interstate 55, south of the 154 mile marker, when he lost control of the vehicle. It ran off the left side of the road and Taylor overcorrected. The S.U.V. came back across the highway and went off the right side of the road. Taylor overcorrected again and the vehicle weaved back across the road and ran off the left side of the highway again. The S.U.V. rolled over throwing Taylor out. He was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the wreck. The accident took place at about 9:40.
