Ste. Genevieve County Collector Resigns

(Ste. Genevieve, MO) Ste. Genevieve County has a new interim county collector, Lisa Marschel, after the resignation of Kim Gielow from the post. A news release from the county commission indicates she tendered her resignation Monday. It's not known why Gielow resigned and no reason was given. Ste. Genevieve County Commissioners appointed Marschel Thursday. Governor Mike Parson is expected to make her the permanent collector for the county. Commissioners also want county residents to the collector's office will continue to operate as normal.
