Statewide and National Republican Primaries

Jefferson City, Mo. (KFMO) - In the Statewide August Primary contested races on the Republiacn side of the race for Governor shows 9 candidates including Darrell Leon McClanahan III, Jeremy Gundel, Bill Eigel, Robert James Olson, John R. (Jay) Ashcroft, Mike Kehoe, Chris Wright, Darren L. Grant, and Amber Thomsen.

The Republican position for running for Lieutenant Governor is being sought by Holly Rehder, Dave Wasinger, Lincoln Hough, Paul Berry III, Tim Baker, and Matthew E. Porter.

The Secretary of State's position is being sought by Republicans Valentina Gomez, Shane Schoeller, Denny Hoskins, Adam J. Schwadron, Jamie Corley, Dean Plocher, Mary Elizabeth Coleman, and Mike Carter.

Cody Smith, Andrew Koening, Lori Rook, Vivek Malek, Tina Goodrick, and Karan Pujji are on the primary ballot for State Treasurer and Will Scharf and Andrew Bailey are running for Attorney General candidacy.

The District 3 State Senate seat is being sought by Mike Henderson and Cyndi Buchheit-Courtway.

Incumbent Dale Wright will go against Ryan Cooper for State Representative of the 116th District while Becky Laubinger, Mike Miller, and Chad Brown Sr. are vying for the candidacy for State Representative of the 117th District.

Our Eighth District Congressional seat, held by Jason Smith features Smith, James Snider, and Grant Heithold as candidates.
