St. Louis Man Dies in ATV Wreck

(French Village, MO) A man form St. Louis, 46 year old Jason M. Olliges, is dead and a 3 year old child is suffering serious injuries after an ATV accident last weekend in Ste. Genevieve County. Highway Patrol reports show the accident took place at Goose Creek as Olliges was driving the ATV east on Lakeview Drive, east of Ocelet Drive, when he lost control of the vehicle and it ran off the left side of the road, smashed into a tree, and then crashed into a concrete traffic barrier. Both Olliges and the child were thrown from the ATV. It's reported neither of them was wearing a helmet. The child was flown to St. Louis Children's Hospital while Olliges was flown to Mercy Hospital St. Louis where he was later pronounced dead.
