(Park Hills, MO) St. Francois County is on track for many improvements in the future following the State of the County Address given at the MAC Tech building at Mineral Area College. The Presiding Commissioner of St. Francois County, Harold Gallaher, told the crowd 2023 was a very good year for completing many projects including the work that's been accomplished at the county jail.
According to Gallaher the jail received other updates and county officials were also able to advance the Berry Road Bridge project and work on widening Feezor Road among other projects. Other speakers at the event included Dr. Joe Gilgour, the President of Mineral Area College and Mayors from throughout the Parkland including Stacey Easter of Park Hills, Pete Pasternak of Desloge, Eric Schonhardt of Bonne Terre, Bismarck Mayor Seth Radford, and Farmington Mayor Larry Forsythe. The St. Francois County 2024 State of the County Address was broadcast live on AM 1240, KFMO.
