St. Francois County Seal Finalists

(Farmington, MO) There are 3 finalists in the contest for a new county seal for St. Francois County. After hundreds of entries, with some from around the world, the special committee of judges determined 3 they though were the best out of all the entries. St. Francois County Presiding Commissioner, Harold Gallaher, says they'll announce the final winner at next Monday's County Commission meeting.

In other business at the Tuesday St. Francois County Commission meeting bids were opened for a bridge over Wolf Creek on Old Fredericktown Road and the funding amounts for the county's senior citizen centers was announced. Nearly $390,000 was awarded to the organizations by the County Senior Committee while commissioners gave their final approval Tuesday.
