St. Francois County Saturday Crash

(St. Francois Co., MO) A Bismarck woman, 25 year old Nicole L. Ely, is recovering from moderate injuries after being involved in a one vehicle crash in St. Francois County at 10:45 Saturday night.

Highway Patrol records show Ely was a passenger in an SUV driven by 69 year old Robert L. Ely, also of Bismarck. The wreck took place as Robert Ely was driving the vehicle south on King School Road, south of Washington Drive, when the SUV ran off the road on a curve and crashed into a tree.

Nicole Ely was taken to Mercy Hospital South at St. Louis. Robert Ely, who received minor injuries, was transported to Iron County Medical Center. Neither of the two were wearing a seat belt when the wreck occurred.
