Spain in Court on Additional Charges

(Leadwood, MO) A Leadwood man, 35 year old Jesse Evan Spain, will be in St. Francois County Court on charges of felony first degree assault after being accused of beating a woman in the face. Reports show June 25th Spain is alleged to have struck the woman several times causing multiple serious injuries. He has a lengthy criminal history and is also charged with misdemeanor resisting arrest, driving while suspended, and more. Spain is out on bond now and has special conditions he's ordered to follow.
