Snow Plows Are Working to Clear Parkland Roads

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - Snow plows from the Missouri Department of Transportation are working to clear highways and roads after estimates of 6" to 10" of snow hit the Parkland Tuesday night.

An Area Engineer with MoDOT, Corbin Carlton, says they've been working on major thoroughfares much of the night.

Carlton adds with a lack of ice in this storm, it makes plowing the roads a little easier than with our last bout of winter weather, which saw a layer of ice fall onto roadways prior to the snow we received.

Along with MoDOT workers, county and city crews throughout the Parkland are working to clear roads as well.
