Sheriff Candidates Participate in Chamber Forum

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - A large crowd attended the Park Hills - Leadington Chamber of Commerce Meet the Candidates St. Francois County Sheriff’s Forum, that was held Thursday evening at Central High School.

The four candidates, incumbent Sheriff Dan Bullock, Jeff Crites, Tim Harris and Jasen Crump, were all in attendance to answer the questions that matter to the constituents of St. Francois County.

Mineral Area College, President Dr. Joe Gilgour moderated the event, asking five identical questions, to the candidates, that were predetermined by the chamber board of directors. Questions were submitted to the chamber earlier this month. Each candidate had a specified time limit to respond.

Chamber Executive Director, Tammi Coleman explains the importance of this type of event. 

Coleman feels the forum met her and the chamber’s expectations.

She says that a video of the event will be released on the chamber’s social media in the coming days.
