Search for Escaped Murder Suspect Cole

(Farmington, MO) Law enforcement officials with the St. Francois County Sheriff's Department are asking for your help in Locating Megan Cole, a 29 year old white female from Farmington. A press release on the St. Francois County Sheriff's Department's Facebook page states in March of 2020 Cole was originally charged in St. Francois County Circuit Court with Murder 1st Degree, Armed Criminal Action, Tampering With Physical Evidence In Felony Prosecution, and Abandonment Of A Corpse. The charges were the results of an investigation conducted by the St. Francois County Sheriff’s Department. Cole was held without bond pending trial. On June 14th Cole received a bond through St. Francois County Circuit Court of $500,000 with the bond condition of house arrest and GPS monitoring. Early this (Thursday) morning Cole removed her GPS monitoring device and fled from the residence in Farmington. An active Arrest Warrant with no bond, for the same charges, was reinstated by St. Francois County Circuit Court.
