Progress in the Parkland: Parkland Health Center to Open New Medical Office Building

Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - In this addition of Progress in the Parkland, Parkland Health Center will be opening their brand-new medical office building, the Parkland Health Center Primary Care Clinic, soon. The facility is part of BJC HealthCare’s commitment to providing extraordinary care to the Farmington community.

Slated to open on October 7, the new clinic will feature over 20 doctor’s offices and offer a range of services, including imaging, radiology, and lab work, streamlining the healthcare process for patients by centralizing these essential services under one roof. The new space will allow primary care providers to transition from their current offices into this state-of-the-art facility.

Parkland Health Center Primary Care Clinic is designed to provide patients with a seamless healthcare experience, minimizing the need for multiple appointments across different locations. 

Annette Schnable, President of Parkland Health Center, highlights the importance of this expansion.

Schnable explains that once the new clinic is fully operational, there will be space for several dozen healthcare providers, enhancing access for patients across the community.

In addition to the clinic’s medical services, the facility will include a Family Care Pharmacy featuring a drive-through window, offering easy access for patients needing to pick up medications, especially those with mobility issues, parents of young children, or those simply unwell.

The Parkland Health Primary Care Clinic will be open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the Family Care Pharmacy will operate from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 573-756-6751.

Parkland Health Center will celebrate the opening of the facility with a grand opening event on September 30, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will include tours of the building, giving the public a chance to explore the new clinic.
