Potosi Man Facing Firearms Charges

(Potosi, MO) A Potosi man, 22 year old Matthew James Digby, will be in Washington County Court Tuesday for a bond appearance hearing on charges of felony unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession, transport, manufacture, repair or sale of an illegal weapon, and a misdemeanor charge of domestic assault in the 4th degree. Reports indicate the charges stem from an alleged altercation with a female who is unidentified. It's alleged Digby wouldn't allow the woman to leave a residence where they'd been arguing. After leaving the scene police allegedly found Digby with a sawed off shotgun.
