Potosi Man Charged with Hildebrandt Murder

(Potosi, MO) A man from Potosi, Derek A Politte, will have his initial arraignment in  Potosi Circuit Court Tuesday after being charged with murder in the 1st degree, and armed criminal action, in the March 2021 death of Christian Hildebrandt. Reports show Hildebrandt had sent a text to his mother March 12th asking for help. His phone was pinged by authorities and was discovered in the Richwoods area along with his body. Politte is under a $1 million bond.
