Potosi Inmates Cause Disturbance Saturday

(Mineral Point, MO) Charges may be filed soon against two inmates of the Potosi Correctional Center after a disturbance at the facility Saturday night. Reports indicate two inmates faked an emergency and while one was being tended too the other inmate escaped into another room where two female staff members were working. The inmate allegedly assaulted one of them and started making demands. The inmate was captured and placed back into custody. No names are being released pending the filing of formal charges.
